Careful selection of fruit and subsequent processing of raw materials using traditional methods on modern equipment is the basic philosophy of R. Jelínek. It was therefore only natural that in 2003 the company continued the orchard tradition of its predecessors and once again began to take advantage of the ideal conditions for growing plum trees that prevail in Vizovice. Five years later, they harvested their first crop of Vizovice plums and started a new tradition - the production of Vizovice slivovitz R. JELÍNEK. The plums are carefully harvested by variety and are distilled separately. The best vintage distillates then form a range of varietal Vizovice plum brandies.
The winner of the 2021 vintage is the Hanita variety from the Na Střelnici orchard: VIZOVICÁ SLIVOVICE 2021 HANITA 50% was produced in a limited series of 1,699 numbered bottles. The Hanita variety is a medium-early self-pollinating semi-plum with a very good taste. This vintage slivovitz is characterised by a smooth, sweet almond flavour with a smooth finish.
