Production:
Olmeca Tequila Gold Reposado is aged for at least 5 months in bourbon barrels, which gives it a smooth character and hints of wood and vanilla. It is made from 100% blue agave, which is slowly cooked and then distilled to create a balanced spirit with a rich aromatic profile.
Tasting profile:
Color: Golden hue with warm amber tones, typical of short aging in oak barrels.
Aroma: Sweet and delicately smoky, with hints of vanilla, citrus and traces of caramelized agave.
Taste: Distinctive but balanced. Dominated by notes of orange, grapefruit and sweet cooked agave, complemented by subtle woody nuances.
Finish: Smooth and pleasant with a slight warmth, ideal for sipping on its own or as a premium base for cocktails.
