Dos Monarcas XO is a blend of fine and rare Panamanian rums, carefully selected based on vintage, age, type of distillation and type of aging. The producer wants to capture the diversity of the rum world, highlight the origin and style of the country where the rum is produced and bring it closer to the consumer.
The eight-year-old rum is created using a unique blending method that is typical of whisky production. The blend of aged Panamanian rums is the result of combining the experience of rum tradition and knowledge with the use of new modern blending techniques. Each rum gives Dos Monarcas Ron XO its exceptional character and consistency.
All batches are individually numbered and carefully monitored until they are aged to perfection.
Flavor Profile:
The aroma is distinctly fresh with notes of fruit and honey. Dos Monarcas Ron XO is aged in the finest American and European oak barrels in which the sherry has previously rested for a minimum of 8 years. This gives it a sweet, subtle oak flavour. This again shows sweet fruit notes, which develop further into a warm spice and cane juice flavour, with a hint of oak. The rum is creamy smooth with a long finish.
