SEDUCTIVO – born from a Styrian vision, created in Cartagena, Colombia. The search for the "perfect rum" gave Mario Reisenhofer, Weizer, the idea for a unique project with the Colombian rum producer Dictador.

It was necessary to send a few samples from Colombia to Styria to find the truly perfect rum. When it could finally live up to its name (SEDUCTIVO=seductive, charming), Mario Reisenhofer also developed the bottle and packaging design. The result was packaging in black and silver as a visual expression of the noble content.

SEDUCTIVO is also an exceptional tasting rum from Dictador. Silky and strikingly sweet, but still with all the familiar characteristics of a typical Dictador rum: subtle chocolate notes and aromatic tobacco aromas, but also notes of caramel and dried fruit added during the long sherry ageing. The aroma also includes exotic spices, citrus notes and a subtle almond/hazelnut scent.

SEDUCTIVO was distilled in Cartagena in 1994. 70% of it in column distillation, 30% in Alembic Pot Stills. Ten of the most valuable casks from the Dictador warehouse were personally selected by Hernan Parra for this limited special bottling and masterfully blended together. As always with Dictador, subsequent sugaring was of course out of the question. By the way, only sherry casks were used for bottling, in which SEDUCTIVO was aged for a full 6 years. Previously, the same rum spent 18 years in ex-bourbon barrels. Like many cask bottlings, SEDUCTIVO is not a solera rum, but has a real cask aging of 24 years!

Color: Deep and dark red-brown with golden highlights.
Aroma: Citrus fruits, nougat, chocolate orange, accents of coffee and lightly roasted hazelnuts.
Taste: Gentle sweetness, underlined by caramel, chocolate, aromatic dried fruit, cappuccino.
Finish: Very long and smooth, balanced, with spicy sweetness.
