Havana Club Añejo Especial Double Aged represents a new generation of Cuban rums – a rum that combines the lightness of young distillates with the depth and aroma of older rums. Maestro Ronero carefully selects barrels of rums of various ages, which are then aged a second time in white oak whiskey barrels, creating an exceptionally smooth, harmonious, and characteristically Cuban rum.
Tasting profile:
Color: Warm amber to golden, with sparkling reflections.
Aroma: Soft and sweet, with notes of vanilla, caramel, cocoa, and sugar cane, complemented by a subtle hint of wood and light alcohol.
Taste: Smooth, delicate, and balanced. Vanilla and caramel notes develop on the palate, transitioning into a delicately woody and slightly dry finish. The rum is pleasantly sweet, but without excessive sugariness.
