Takamaka Rum Zepis Kreol from the St. André series is a unique spiced rum that has built its character on a foundation of rich oak and authentic Seychelles spices. Created from a carefully selected blend of pot and column-distilled molasses rum that has been macerated with local natural spices and then harmoniously blended with wood from former merlot barrels, Zepis Kreol offers a unique taste experience.

The addition of eight-year-old Bajan rum brings a unique depth and complexity to Foursquare. This rum is then aged for 60 days in very old bourbon barrels, giving it its final refined flavor.

Each sip of Takamaka Rum Zepis Kreol reveals a true depth and richness of oak character, subtly complemented by notes of local cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and a blend of quatre epices. All finished with a hint of island sweetness, the rum is bottled at 43% alcohol without the use of chill filtration and without the addition of any colouring or artificial flavouring.

In 2000, inspired by the family tradition and his grandfather's skill in making Creole Arrangé Rum, Bernard and his father Robert set out to produce a quality rum. With improvised tools, including a swimming pool as a cooling tower and commonly available ingredients, they began experimenting at home. After a year of testing and development, joined by Bernard's older brother Richard, they founded Trois Frères Distillery in the Seychelles in February 2002. Overcoming the challenges of remoteness and harnessing their curiosity, the brothers perfected the production of rum, which has become not only a symbol of their family heritage but also an expression of their approach to life and work.
