Belizean Blue Signature Blend is a 100% local rum from Belize. The entire production process, from growing the sugar cane to aging in oak barrels, takes place in this country on the Caribbean coast. The small, family-run distillery that produces it, Travellers Liquors Ltd, set out to produce a tasty, high-quality rum in as pure a form as possible, and we have to admit that they have succeeded brilliantly!
This rum represents one of the finest rums to come out of Belize. In addition to its great taste, the Belizean Blue Signature Blend is underpinned by the producer's impressive initiatives to enhance their local environment. They are intensely committed to recycling, reducing the waste produced, providing by-products of production as fertilizer for Belizean farmers, and are also Fair-trade certified.
Colour: Intense amber.
Scent: Hints of vanilla, caramel candies complemented by hints of spices such as cinnamon or nutmeg.
Taste: Delicate, pleasantly sweet. Vanilla, sweet caramel, delicate spices.
Finish: Very smooth. Long, sweet and spicy.
Recommended to be enjoyed alone in a rum glass, in the warmer months an ice cube can be added.
