1731 Fine&Rare Barbados 8Y is a unique 8 year old single varietal rum that will please even the most demanding rum drinkers. It is produced at perhaps the most famous distillery in Barbados, the legendary Foursquare.
1731 Fine&Rare Barbados 8Y is aged for a minimum of 8 years in barrels that previously contained bourbon. The blend consists of rums made from two types of distillation - pot still, which adds aromatic richness and intensity; and column still, which in turn "smooths" the rum and adds elegance. A beautiful rum that you will enjoy more and more with every glass!
Nose: Light, woody notes, vanilla, sour jelly candy, then strawberry, cherry and lightly toasted nuts.
Taste: Smooth and fresh. Vanilla and woodiness reappear.
Finish: Full-bodied and delicious, with a strong influence of soft and spicy oak.

1731 Fine&Rare brand also took inspiration from this event and today presents a unique range of rums. Each has its own distinctive character, but what unites them is a full and extremely rich flavour. And because 1731 Fine&Rare prides itself on quality, you can be sure their rums meet these criteria:
