Product description

Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial is a timeless classic among champagnes—elegant, iconic, and always relevant. Just like the “little black dress” in fashion, it embodies a style that suits almost any occasion. Since 1869, it has been a symbol of a joyful, approachable, yet refined champagne that has won popularity around the world.

Cuvée composition:

  • Pinot Noir: 30–40%
  • Pinot Meunier: 30–40%
  • Chardonnay: 20–30%
  • Reserve wines: 20–30%
  • Dosage: 7 g/l

This cuvée reflects the richness of the Champagne region through a blend of various terroirs, grape varieties, and vintages from nearly 280 crus. It is crafted from more than 100 different wines, with 20 to 30% consisting of carefully selected reserve wines that impart greater maturity, complexity, and stability to the blend. The result is a harmonious and consistent style that combines freshness, finesse, and a pleasant fruity fullness.

Tasting Profile:

Color: Golden straw yellow with green highlights.

Aroma: Green apple, citrus fruits, mineral notes, white flowers, brioche, cereal, fresh nuts.

Taste: White fruit (pear, peach, apple), delicate bubbles, citrus, gooseberry.

Finish: Elegant, fresh, and harmonious.

Wine Character:

Brut Impérial combines richness and finesse in a perfectly balanced style. It is a champagne that works wonderfully as a celebratory toast, an aperitif, and a versatile accompaniment to lighter cuisine.
