The last few years have changed our world, with pandemics, social networks, fast pace... we have lost something. It's been lost quietly, stealthily, almost imperceptibly. But at the Green Tree Distillery , they noticed. We forgot to socialize! Seeing each other just for the joy of seeing each other. To share each other's everyday stories. But at the Green Tree Distillery, they believe that nothing is lost. They believe that we still have the desire to have fun, to socialize and to share our experiences and stories with each other.
For such moments, they decided to launch a new line of fruit spirits. Honest as life itself, naturally, without any pretensions, as nature has offered them. This is how Moravian Basket was born . Fruit spirits from purely Czech fruit, from the Haná region. Carefully collected and sorted, thoroughly aged, honestly distilled. Hand made. This is Moravský Košt from U Zeleného stromu distillery, the oldest distillery in Europe.
The best plums, apricots and pears are selected. Each fruit is carefully picked and prepared for fermentation. Distillation takes three hours on a modern distillation column, resulting in a spirit with an average strength of 62.5%, which retains its undiluted strength. The distillate is matured in stainless steel or stoneware containers, giving it smoothness and fullness. The distillate is diluted to the required % alcohol, frozen, filtered and bottled, ensuring premium quality.
