Scapa 10Y is an excellent 10-year-old single malt Scotch whisky that reflects the heritage and unique natural conditions of Orkney. 

Tasting Profile:

Nose: A distinctive floral aroma with hints of citrus that gradually transitions into a light waxiness.

Production process:

Scapa 10Y is produced using traditional methods. It is aged in American oak barrels that were originally used as first fill bourbon barrels. This type of cask gives the whisky a smooth, sweet and fruity flavour with a long fresh finish. Fermentation, which takes 160 hours, and the unusual shape of the still contribute to the unique flavour profile of this whisky.

The distillery is renowned for its small team of master distillers who have carefully passed on their craft skills from generation to generation. There is only one pair of pot stills at Scapa Distillery, allowing the whiskies to be produced with exceptional care and attention to detail.
