Product description

R. Jelínek Plum Liqueur is made from traditional plum spirit and offers the full flavour of ripe, juicy plums with a typical sweet and sour profile. This liqueur is another in a series of high quality products from the Vizovice distillery, which is known for its meticulous processing of fruit and its spirits.

R. Jelínek Plum Liqueur is a great choice for warm summer days. We recommend serving it chilled, neat or as part of simple summer drinks. Try it with sparkling water, tonic water or a spritz, for example, and discover the new dimension of refreshment that this liqueur can offer.

With its subtle but distinctive flavour, R. Jelínek Plum Liqueur is not only suitable for drinking, but also makes an excellent addition to desserts, ice cream or as a base for creative cocktails. Its versatility and delicious taste make it a popular choice for experimenting in the kitchen and behind the bar.

About R. Jelínek:

RUDOLF JELÍNEK is rooted in a rich history that dates back to 1585, when the first mention of an existing distillery was made in the land registry of the Vizovice estate. This long tradition of distillate production in Wallachia is the basis of the company, which was formally established by Jakub Jelinek after the lease of the estate distillery in 1882. Jelinek and his successors, including his son Zikmund and subsequent generations, have built a brand whose products are valued for their quality and finesse around the world.

After nationalization in 1948 and the departure of Jiří Jelínek into exile, the company continued production under the national enterprise, but despite these changes, it retained its reputation for the quality of its spirits and RUDOLF JELÍNEK brand. In 1998, a new group of shareholders entered the company and turned the company's economic direction for the better, which was already evident in the following year.

In 2004, the Distillery Land project was implemented, a tour of the company's premises, which was supported by EU funds. This project gave the public an insight into the production process and increased awareness of the brand and its products.

In 2003, the company revived its ancestral orchard tradition and started to use local conditions for growing plums again, which allowed better control over the quality of the raw materials. In 2019, the company managed 181 hectares of orchards and is working towards the goal of owning approximately 200 hectares of plantations in the Czech Republic.
