Lazy Dodo is an exceptional single estate rum from the island of Mauritius, specifically from the Pamplemousses region, home to some of the island's most beautiful sugar cane plantations. The name "Lazy Dodo" refers to the now extinct flightless bird, the symbol of Mauritius – and like it, this rum carries the unique charm of the place where it comes from.

Characteristics:

The rum is made from molasses that undergoes natural fermentation, which brings out the authentic aroma of sugar cane and exotic fruits typical of the local terroir. It is distilled using column distillation at the Grays Distilling distillery and then aged for up to 10 years in carefully selected French and American oak barrels. The resulting rum is a blend of several vintages, which together create a perfectly balanced taste and aroma.
