Production and origin:
Pura Vida Añejo comes from sugar cane grown between volcanic peaks and the Pacific Ocean. It is a blend of three types of rum – from fresh cane juice, cane honey, and molasses. Double distillation ensures smoothness and purity, with the second part traditionally carried out in small batches of 5,000 liters. Subsequent aging in American bourbon barrels in the tropical climate of Costa Rica gives the rum harmony and depth.
