Dictador Game Changer Beige & Orange is a premium rum that combines the world of luxury spirits with modern art. This distinctive edition was created in collaboration with French artist Richard Orlinski, whose signature style is reflected in the iconic Dictador bottle with its characteristic Konga head-shaped stopper and bold color design. At first glance, it is clear that this is not just rum, but a design piece with a distinctive personality.
Characteristics:
Inside is a blend of selected vintage rums created by master blender Hernando Parra. The oldest have been aged for up to 25 years, the youngest for 15 years. The rum is made from virgin sugar cane honey, distilled in kettles and columns, and aged by the Caribbean Sea. The result is a deep and layered profile that is modern, smooth, and very elegant.
Tasting profile:
Aroma: Intense and complex, maple syrup, Kopiko sweets, caramel, orange peel, orange with cloves.
Taste: Balanced and fresh, caramel, roasted nuts, honey, dried citrus fruit.
Finish: Long, pleasant, aromatic and sweet, with a sophisticated aftertaste.
Bottle design:
The iconic shape of the Dictador bottle is given the artistic signature of Richard Orlinski. The combination of the striking Beige & Orange color scheme, street art elements, and a cap in the shape of a Konga head makes this edition an attractive gift and collector's item.
About the Dictador brand:
Dictador was born in Colombia, a country famous not only for its coffee but also for its ideal climate for rum maturation. The result is a rum that appeals to collectors, lovers of rare editions, and lovers of sophisticated flavors.
The Dictador brand draws inspiration from Sever Arangoy, nicknamed "El Dictador," a Spanish official who oversaw the rum trade in Cartagena de Indias, the commercial center of the Spanish colonial empire in the 18th century. The brand is named after him, and this is where the story of Dictador as a rum with authority began.
The modern era of Dictador began in 1913, when the family business of the same name was officially founded. Since then, Dictador rum has been produced with an emphasis on precision, craftsmanship, and long aging, now led by renowned master blender Hernan Parra, who is the third generation of the Parra rum family.
