Havana Club 7Y, a dark rum aged in bourbon barrels, is very versatile and ideal for making cocktails or sipping on the rocks. It reveals the rich flavours of Cuba, including aromatic tobacco, sweet tropical fruits, molasses, spices, vanilla and slow-release aromas. Havana Club represents the essence of Cuban rum, influenced by the climate, geography, history and people of Cuba. In 1993, the joint venture Havana Club International S.A. was established between Pernod Ricard S.A. and The Cuba Ron SA Corporation, with the aim of distributing Havana Club rum globally. Thanks to the traditional production methods of Maestros del Ron Cubano, Havana Club rums have become Cuba's most awarded rums, winning 27 medals in tasting competitions over the past four years.
