Kurayoshi 18Y Pure Malt is a Japanese whisky produced by Matsui Shuzou, located in Tottori Prefecture, Japan. This whisky is made from a combination of malt whiskies from various Japanese distilleries, making it a 'pure malt' (formerly known as 'vatted malt').

Kurayoshi 18Y Pure Malt is matured for 18 years in American white oak casks and finished in Japanese oak casks. This process gives the whisky the distinctive aroma and flavour characteristics that are typical of Japanese whiskies.

This whisky has a smooth and balanced taste with notes of vanilla, wood and spice. The aroma contains notes of honey, dried fruits and wood. The 50 % alcohol content gives it a strength and character that lends itself well to slow drinking.
