Jägermeister is an herbal liqueur of strong and intense aroma, an extraordinary sensitively balanced bitter-sweet flavor and positive impacts on digestive tract. It is produced based on secret original recipe of maceration using 56 kinds of roots, herbs and other natural recourses like citrus peel, anise plant, licorice, saffron, ginger and juniper berries in neutral spirit. The ingredients are put into the neutral spirit for 6 weeks. Jägermeister ages for at least a year in oak barrels.
