Product description

Jameson Irish Whiskey is an icon among Irish whiskeys—a symbol of quality, tradition, and friendship. Since 1780, when John Jameson opened his distillery in Dublin, this whiskey has been produced with the same philosophy: triple distilled for maximum smoothness and a perfectly balanced flavor.

Production:

Jameson is created by blending the finest pot still and fine grain whiskeys, which, after triple distillation, are aged for at least four years in oak barrels that previously held bourbon and sherry.

This careful process gives the whiskey its characteristic smoothness, roundness, and warm, harmonious profile. Every drop of Jameson reflects more than 240 years of Irish distilling artistry and an uncompromising commitment to quality.

Tasting profile:

Aroma: Light and floral, complemented by notes of spicy wood, honey, and sweet vanilla.

Taste: A perfectly balanced combination of spices, nuts, vanilla and dried fruit, with a subtle touch of sherry and orange peel.

Finish: Smooth, long-lasting and velvety, with a subtle sweetness.

Recommended serving:

Jameson is a versatile whiskey that can be enjoyed:

  • Neat – for a full-bodied taste,
  • On the rocks – for a refreshing smoothness,
  • With a little water – to open up all the layers of aroma,

Or in a simple, iconic cocktail, Jameson Ginger & Lime:

  1. 50 ml Jameson Irish Whiskey
  2. 150 ml ginger ale
  3. Slice of fresh lime

Origin and character:

The Jameson brand was founded in 1780 by John Jameson, and even after more than 240 years, it continues to produce whiskey according to his original methods, ensuring consistent quality and perfect balance. The move of production in 1975 from Dublin to modern facilities in Midleton, Cork, has enabled Jameson to remain the best-selling Irish whiskey in the world.
