Gorbatschow Wodka is vodka of high quality made exclusively of high-quality ingredients and it gains its own special purity by using a unique method, so called cold filtration. Thanks to the optimal quadruple filtration Gorbatschow Wodka regularly achieves top positions in various national or international competitions.
Gorbatschow Wodka is the leading German vodka brand. During the October revolution Leo Leontowitsch Gorbachev and his family left their homeland and moved to Berlin, where he started producing vodka on 28th April 1921. The name of the brand, the bottle with bulbous bottom and the blue label were registered by the company L. Gorbatschow & Co. as a trademark in 1923. Gorbatschow Wodka was popular especially with Russian community in exile in Berlin.
The brand began to grow beyond Berlin at the beginning of 1950s thanks to the effort of the owner A. Barth. In 1960 the company Söhnlein Rheingold KG bought the brand. So, the drink became global selling. Since 1975 the slogan of the brand has been “Des Wodkas reine Seele”.
