This blend was crafted by master blender Hernán Parra Arango from rums of varying ages, ranging from approximately seven to twenty years. The result is a rich and layered rum that combines notes of caramel, oak, dried fruit, coffee, cocoa, and warm spices.

The modern era of Dictador began in 1913, when the family business of the same name was officially founded. Since then, Dictador rum has been produced with an emphasis on precision, craftsmanship, and long aging, now led by renowned master blender Hernan Parra, who is the third generation of the Parra rum family.
