Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut is an iconic, elegant, fresh, and harmonious cuvée made from more than 100 grape varieties from different terroirs in Champagne. It is a symbol of the style and precision that has accompanied the Piper-Heidsieck brand since 1785.
Characteristics:
Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Meunier and 20% Chardonnay, complemented by at least 30% reserve wines, which give the wine depth, complexity and consistent character across vintages. Each batch is aged for at least 24 months on the lees and another 6 months after disgorging to fully develop its delicate persistence and creamy texture.
Production:
This sparkling gem is the result of the work of experienced winemakers who combine traditional craftsmanship with a modern, sustainable approach. It all starts with hand harvesting at full ripeness and ends with carefully controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Piper-Heidsieck boasts Haute Valeur Environnementale (level 3) and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne certifications. No herbicides are used in the vineyards, the soil is maintained naturally, and flowers and grasses grow between the rows to promote biodiversity and bee populations.
Tasting profile:
Color: Light gold with bright reflections and fine, persistent bubbles.
Aroma: Pear, white peach, citrus, orange blossom, and a light almond elegance.
Taste: Harmonious and refreshing, with subtle notes of toasted bread, almonds, mint, and a creamy finish.
Finish: Long, clean, and delicately mineral.
Perfect pairing:

Sustainability philosophy:
Piper-Heidsieck is a pioneer in the field of sustainable viticulture. It uses mechanical weeding, promotes hedgerows and apiaries, and works with more than 240 partner winegrowers throughout Champagne. Every drop of this champagne embodies not only artistry, but also respect for the land and nature.
Awards:
Piper-Heidsieck Cuvée Brut is a champagne that embodies French elegance, freshness, and masterful balance. The ideal choice for any celebration of life – whether it's a festive toast, a romantic evening, or a moment that deserves to be unforgettable.
History and tradition of Piper-Heidsieck:
Founded in 1785 by Florens-Louis Heidsieck, this house has a long history associated with the desire to please Queen Marie Antoinette, an ambition that continues to this day. The house boasts a romantic founding story and a long-standing partnership between Christian Heidsieck and Henri-Guillaume Piper, which gave rise to one of the most famous champagne brands.
The winery prides itself on its biodiversity and environmentally friendly technologies, such as zero use of herbicides and an integrated approach to environmental protection. The vineyards are carefully maintained with natural lawns and without the use of chemical sprays.
