Production:

The production process is based on several types of citrus fruits, including sweet and sour oranges, mandarins, pomelo, and three different varieties of limes. The whole fruits are macerated together with juniper berries for 24 hours in sugarcane distillate at 50 °C. The macerate is then distilled along with other botanicals, including angelica root, star anise, orris root, cloves, cinnamon, red pepper, and lemongrass. The result is a flavor-rich gin in which the citrus notes blend beautifully with juniper and a subtly spicy South American character.

The gin is diluted to 47% alcohol to maintain stability and a high content of natural citrus oils. If the alcohol content drops below 46% or after mixing with tonic, it may become slightly cloudy and take on a silvery-hazy hue; this is a natural characteristic of the product and does not indicate lower quality.

Another major advantage is the production facility itself. The distillery is Fairtrade-certified; the sugarcane comes from its own fields, and the distillery purchases other raw materials from local farmers. Sugarcane residues are used as an energy source, making production not only sustainable but also energy-self-sufficient.
