The Duppy Share XO, the latest addition to the Duppy Share family, is the premium rum in its category. A blend of rums from Barbados ranging in age from 5 to 12 years created at the renowned Foursquare distillery. More than 65% of the blend is made up of eight-year-old rums.
The rum is distilled in the Caribbean and aged in the same location and bourbon barrels.
The aroma is completely unique, with tamarind aromas balanced by floral notes of violets and roasted coconut. The palate is pleasantly full-bodied with notes of butterscotch fondant, caramel and condensed milk. Notes of apricot, vanilla and nutmeg round it all off. The finish is long with notes of oak, vanilla and chocolate with a touch of mint. The aftertaste brings again the initial floral notes.
