Life was not easy at the beginning of the nineteenth century. The Napoleonic Wars swept through Europe, and thanks to the blockade of sea and river routes, all sugarcane rum suddenly disappeared from our countries. But that would be so that the Czechs would not be able to deal with it. Many stories have been written about Czech indomitability and ingenuity and the ability to discover. And one of them concerns the native. The wars of foreign powers and our tenacity have produced something wonderful. Both the taste and the aroma have a touch of real caramel with a hint of vanilla. It has a dark color and woody notes due to aging in barrels. That's how the homebrew once tasted, in the days of its birth. And now we can all taste it. Untamed and unadulterated, in a pre-revolutionary style, inspired by Jamaican rums. Such is the Tuzemák Discoverer from the oldest distillery in Europe, i.e. Distillery U Zeleného stromu.
