Tequila Volcan De Mi Tierra was created in 2017 in the volcanic region of Jalisco, Mexico. It was here, more than 200,000 years ago, that a volcano aptly named Tequila erupted. The region of Jalisco owes its fertility to this eruption, and Volcan De Mi Tierra tequila owes its name, which translates as "territory of the volcano."
Volcan De Mi Tierra is made from 100% blue agave and contains no additives. Tequila Volcán Reposado is made from 100% blue agave, grown exclusively in the Highlands, known for its rich clay soil. It is this soil that gives our tequila its fruitiness and floweriness.
After distillation, one part of the distillate was stored for 4.5 months in American oak barrels and the other part for the same period in European oak barrels. Subsequently, the two parts were joined together again.
