Opthimus 25Y Sistema Solera Oporto represents the pinnacle of maturity, enriched by final maturation in barrels that previously held select port wine. It is this step that gives the rum its fascinating ruby color with violet reflections and significantly deepens its aromatic profile.

Maturation and character:

The rum comes from the Dominican Republic and is produced under the supervision of experienced masters from Oliver & Oliver. It is aged using the Solera system in American and French white oak barrels, then rested for several months in Oporto port wine barrels. The result is a complex and multi-layered spirit with a modern, full-bodied expression.

Tasting profile:

Color: Ruby with violet reflections.

Aroma: Cane caramel, raisins, ripe red grapes, nuts, fine chocolate, dried dates and figs, complemented by notes of port wine and vanilla.

Taste: Robust, perfectly rounded, delicately lingering and intense thanks to 43% alcohol.
