Radlík Dwarf Plum is an exceptional single-variety slivovice made from an original, now nearly extinct variety of plums known as karlátka. According to tradition, this old variety has been cultivated since the time of Charles IV and has been prized for centuries as an ideal raw material for producing high-quality slivovice.

Karlátka plums are characterized by high sugar content and a distinctive fruity aroma. It is precisely this that gives rise to a spirit with a full, delicious, and naturally aromatic flavor. 90% of the fruit in this batch was pitted to ensure the resulting slivovice has a smoother, fruitier profile with a slightly subdued stone fruit note.

Taste: Smooth, delicious, and fruity. The typical stone fruit note is slightly subdued, allowing the natural sweetness, aroma, and pure character of the plums to stand out more.

Finish: Long, aromatic, and pleasantly fruity.

Awards:

The quality of this slivovitz is also confirmed by awards. In 2023, it won a bronze medal at the Pálenka of the Year competition, and in 2024, it was honored at the prestigious Austrian Destillata competition. It was produced for the International Slivovitz Weekend.
