Radlík quince is an exceptional fermented distillate made from quinces—a forgotten fruit with an intense aroma that was once used to scent wardrobes and laundry. Today, quince brandy ranks among the most interesting and prestigious fruit spirits, as it offers a very original aroma and flavor not found in more common spirits.
Tasting Profile:
Color: Clear.
Aroma: Intense, very rich, and uniquely fruity. It evokes an apple cellar, stored apples, ripe pears, and fresh citrus notes.
Taste: Delicate, rich, long, and harmonious. The strong fruity aroma smoothly develops into a unique flavor with pear nuances.
Finish: Long, aromatic, and fruitily fresh, with a pleasant aftertaste of quince and citrus.
Awards:
Radlík quince is one of the distillery’s most successful products. It won second place at the Spirits of the Year competition in 2022, 2023, and 2024. In 2024, it won a gold medal at the prestigious Austrian competition Destillata, and in the same year it also won at CNSC Prague against strong competition from Balkan spirits. It took home gold at CNSC Prague again in 2025.
Radlík quince is ideal as both an aperitif and a digestif. Thanks to its exceptional aromatic profile, it is also perfect for adding a unique touch to original cocktails. It is intended for connoisseurs who want to discover less common fruit spirits with a distinctive character and competition-proven quality.
About Radlík Distillery:
Radlík Distillery is a Czech artisanal distillery based in Jílové u Prahy that specializes in the production of authentic fruit distillates, liqueurs, and barrel-aged spirits. The brand is one of the most prominent representatives of the modern Czech distilling scene and has long demonstrated that fruit brandy can be a premium spirit comparable to global production.
The distillery’s history dates back to 1998, when it was founded as one of the first grower-owned distilleries in the Central Bohemian Region. Since 2001, it has also held a license for a fruit distillery. A significant milestone was the expansion and modernization of operations in 2018, which enabled the distillery to expand its own production on a larger scale and raise the quality of production even higher.
Radlík Distillery is one of the most prominent Czech producers of fruit spirits. In 2025, it was named Distillery of the Year for the fourth time and has won over 70 gold medals in domestic and international competitions. It has also been named Champion—the overall winner of the Spirits of the Year competition—three times.
