Sudlička Nut Brandy 0,2l 30%

Sudlička Nut Brandy is a traditional Czech walnut liqueur with an alcohol content of 30%, based on a macerate of walnuts. This version in a 200 ml gift bottle is ideal as a stylish gift or as a taste of genuine homemade liqueur.

Traditional production:

Unripe walnuts are used in combination with a carefully selected blend of herbs. Everything is left to macerate slowly so that the typical bittersweet, slightly earthy taste and characteristic aroma are transferred to the alcohol. After sufficient maturation, the liqueur is filtered and then bottled.

Taste profile:

Nut Brandy has a chestnut brown color that darkens with age. Any slight cloudiness is not a defect, but a natural consequence of the raw materials used. Thanks to its natural bitterness, it is traditionally sought after as a stomach liqueur that aids digestion.

The result is a full, harmonious and time-tested taste that is best enjoyed on its own, at room temperature or slightly chilled.

Sudlička Distillery:

Sudlička brandy and its history date back to ancient times, when an old farmstead, which once served as a yeoman's fortress, protected the busy trade route to Potštejn Castle from robbers. Matěj Sudlička breathed new life into this place by starting the first fruit distillation. This step marked the beginning of a long tradition that has continued to develop over the years.

Historical milestones:

1918: The Čižmář family buys the estate and continues the farming tradition of the place.

1998: The current owner, Igor Čižmář, revives fruit distillation, reigniting the flames of traditional production in Sudličkova Lhota.

2006: Purchase of a distillery in Hrobice, where Igor Čižmář revives and modernizes the production of fruit distillates and liqueurs, continuing a 120-year history and tradition.
