Ron Patridom XO (formerly Esclavo XO) is a premium rum made from sugar cane molasses and aged in the tropical climate of the Dominican Republic. This rum is aged in American oak and French oak barrels for twelve to fifteen years. The rum is produced by the company Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos, which harvests its own sugar cane and ensures that the rum is made up of crops from the Dominican Republic. Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos is the largest producer of alcohol in the Dominican Republic and therefore the company plays an important role in the community, providing work for hundreds of local residents. Using column (continuous) distillation, Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos produces traditional light and elegant Spanish-style rum.
