Žufánek Kontušovka is a legendary herbal liqueur whose origin dates back to the time of the famous character of Hašek Švejk. This unique liqueur is made according to the original Polish recipe from 1901, which has been enriched with other carefully selected herbs, giving it a completely unique character.
Key ingredients: Anise, fennel, coriander, cumin and five other herbs.
Žufánek Kontušovka is not made by conventional blending of aromatic oils and essences, but by long maceration of the herbs in honeydew distillate, which is then aged in the cellar. This process gives each batch a specific nuance, making each vintage slightly different and preserving its original and rich flavour.
The first batch was established on 17 November 2009 and since its bottling on 10 December 2010, Kontušovka has quickly gained popularity. Today, it is one of the most popular liqueurs in the Zufanek range and has become a true legend among herbal liqueurs.
