Bruichladdich Octomore 14.1 is a dynamic whisky of light amber colour distilled from 100% Scottish Concerto mainland barley. It has a delicate and complex balance between intense smoke, malt, cask influence and the maturation process, creating an intoxicating drinking experience.
After five years of aging in first-fill American whiskey barrels, Octomore 14.1 reveals its strength and depth of base ingredients with hints of sweet caramel, vanilla and a distinct peatiness, elevated by roasted coffee and subtle spice.

NOSE: Smoky vanilla and caramel with characteristic smoke, balanced by fine coconut and almond flakes.
PALATE: Citrus, pronounced minerality and charred oak, with balanced notes of caramel, creamy vanilla and earthy smoke, complemented by freshness of pear, gooseberry and green apple.
FINISH: Rich, with a harmonious balance between scotch butter, vanilla and the characteristic earthy peat smoke with a hint of salt mist, finishing with burnt heather and juniper blossom.
