Dewar's Double Double 36Y is a truly exceptional blended malt whisky, created by master blender Stephanie J. Macleod using a unique four-stage maturation process that ensures exceptional smoothness and complexity.
Characteristics:
After selecting the finest single malt whiskies from Speyside, Highland, and Islay, they were aged for 36 years, after which the whisky matured in Madeira wine casks. The result is a velvety smooth, elegantly balanced whisky with a deep character.
Tasting profile:
Color: Golden amber.
Aroma: Delicate, fruity, with hints of dried fruit and creamy sweetness.
Taste: Ripe peaches, coconut oil, vanilla – all linked by a creamy, smooth texture.
Finish: Long, balanced, smooth with a hint of Madeira and sweet spicy notes.
This limited edition is the perfect gift for discerning whisky lovers and collectors. Each bottle is carefully packaged in a luxurious gift box that highlights the uniqueness of its contents.
About Dewar's:
Dewar's is one of the most respected Scotch whisky brands in the world – and rightly so. Its story begins in 1898 in the picturesque setting of Aberfeldy, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, where the distillery that still produces the basis of all Dewar's blends – a smooth, rich single malt whisky – was founded.
From the very beginning, Dewar's has focused on quality, balance and smoothness. One of the brand's unique features is its double aging process, which ensures a perfectly smooth and harmonious result. In premium editions such as the Double Double range, this approach is taken to perfection – the whisky is aged four times and finished in carefully selected casks, such as Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
