Rum Companero Panama Extra Anejo is another of the "family" of rums, which expands the range of Companero rums (Jamaica-Trinidad, Elixir Orange) by another successful brand that has won its fans in a short time. Although it might seem that the 54% alcohol content can make this rum a rather strong alcoholic drink, these concerns are unnecessary and already after the first sip it has a very pleasant and delicious impression. The higher alcohol content is hidden in the background of its typical chocolate taste, which gives a distinctly warm character to this 12-year-old Panamanian rum.
Aroma: almost like a "mini muh" chocolate, with notes of cocoa and oranges, however the chocolate notes are the most dominant.
Taste: thick dark chocolate, hot cream and citrus. Light, chocolatey, sweet, slightly orange aftertaste.
