Made by macerating and pressing sour cherries, raisins, herbs and spices in a very fine spirit with the addition of cloves, Ceylon cinnamon, Madaskar vanilla pods, dried orange peel, burdock root and galangal.Pressed macerate is enriched with prized cherry distillate and sweetened with sugar to 250 grams per liter of liqueur. GRIOT contains approximately 20% pressed natural fruit juice.
The liqueur is diluted with demineralized water from a 102-meter-deep well in the Klikovsk formation of the Třeboň Basin. A fine turbidity is typical.
Cherry liqueur carries the sweetness characteristic of a liqueur, but it definitely does not make your mouth sticky. You can expect a sour touch of sour cherries and a surprise in the form of an atypical herbal aftertaste. Together, it is a balanced form of extraordinary experience.
