Each of these boxes depicts a portion of Basquiat's painting In Italian (1983). By assembling all three boxes, a complete painting is recreated that illustrates the harmony and creative connection between Dom Pérignon and Basquiat. This design is inspired by Basquiat's assemblage technique and reflects his unique way of combining different elements.

The aroma is initially somewhat dark, with roasted notes and a hint of bitter cocoa. Gradually, however, it opens up, like a blossoming flower. Linden leaves, jasmine and finally peony accentuate the spicy dimension of the fragrance with notes of anise and cardamom The overall impression is pleasantly completed by a vegetal and fruity freshness with notes of chlorophyll, orange peel and green papaya.

The spectrum of flavours is wide. It spills over the palate subtly at first, but then the mouthfeel materialises and builds until it is generously rich. A sip of wine caresses and stimulates at the same time, more on the sides of the tongue than at the tip. Flavours of fresh peach and nectarine flesh are balanced by citrus and bitter notes.
