The whisky comes from the Hyogo and Kyoto regions – the cradles of Japanese craftsmanship, known for their crystal-clear spring water and long history of distillation. It combines a traditional approach inspired by the founders of Japanese whisky (Taketsuru, Torii) with a modern blending style and premium casks.
The whisky is matured in a combination of three types of casks: Japanese Mizunara oak (sandalwood, coconut, exotic spices), bourbon casks (sweetness and smoothness) and new casks (structure and strength). This gives it a complex and balanced flavor profile.
