Pacto Navio is a rum made in Cuba. It is a dark rum with an alcohol content of 40% and a volume of 0.7 litres. The name 'Pacto Navio' means 'ship's contract' and refers to the time when rums were imported on ships to Europe and contracts were made between traders.
This rum is made from high quality Cuban sugar cane, which is carefully selected and processed. After distillation, the rum is matured in white oak barrels, where it acquires its characteristic colour, aroma and taste.
Pacto Navio has a rich and complex taste with notes of caramel, vanilla, cinnamon and fruit. It is very smooth and soft on the palate, making it an ideal rum for drinking on its own or for mixing in cocktails.
