A ship, which was transporting rum from the Caribbean, was attacked by a monstrous kraken. This creature sank the ship with its crew into the darkness. Only one barrel wasn’t destroyed. This barrel was badly colored by the black ink of the octopus, and so was called “The Kraken Rum”. Today is known as a beverage of an absolute darkness.
The drink is black and while you are holding it against the light, you can see brown traces. The bottle’s design is inspired by a Victorian rum bottle with two round handles based on the tradition of hanging the bottle preventing from its destruction. The bottle has black-and-white paper label with a picture of the sea monster – kraken. On the back-label of the bottle is quoted, it’s an “imported rum from the Caribbean mixed with natural flavors”.
