The name Uigeadail (pronounced roughly “Oog-a-dal”) means dark, mysterious place in Gaelic and refers to Loch Uigeadail, from which the distillery draws its peat-rich water. This non-age-stated whisky is created by blending distillates from bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks. The result is a bold and layered combination of sweetness, spice, and intense smoke. Nose: Warm Christmas cake, nut oil, Parma violets, sea spices, cedar, pine needles, smoldering coal, oiled leather, molasses caramel, chocolate-coated raisins.
