Gunroom Navy Rum 0,5L 65% is a unique rum of traditional style. Same as all rums of marine style the Gunroom Navy Rum is a blend of several rums of different origin. These rums are of different age, some of them are even immature, but most of them are heavy rums of copper still. Demenera rum from Guyana makes a large part. This specific rum is distillated by using a distillation device from 18th century, which was used by Royal navy long time ago. Thanks to it, the final blend delights you with its very strong character. You can savor this rum wonderfully in cocktails or on the rocks, and it goes well with cigars.
Gunroom Navy Rum has a strong and creamy character with straw-golden color. In the aroma you can smell alcohol, overripe bananas and caramel-vanilla tones with taste of spices and tobacco. Rums are gently blended and rest for a while together in opened containers before they are filled into the bottles.
In final mix you find blend of from three to five column distilled rums from Trinidad (Angostura), which ages in barrels after bourbon, blend column and pot still of five rums from Barbados (Foursquare), pure pot still blend from Jamaica (Worthy Park) and finally the immature pot still from Guyana (Port Mourant) produced using a distillation device from 18th century.
