The distillery is one of the most modern and sustainable not only in the Dominican Republic, but also in the world. The basis of rum is sugar cane juice, the distillate is then aged for at least eight years in a tropical climate in American oak barrels after bourbon. The finished rum is transported from the Dominican Republic to Europe by sea, in ships powered only by the wind. The bottles are made in Europe from recycled glass to reduce carbon emissions as much as possible. The label is made from sustainable paper and the cork is produced using a more ecological method without the use of glue.
