The elegant wine is greenish golden in colour with a subtle ethereal aroma of lime blossoms and freshly picked apricots accompanied by pleasant acidity and subtle mineral notes with an aftertaste of apricot jam. The fruity notes of the young wine develop into mineral and petrol nuances with longer ageing. It can serve as an unusual and exceptional aperitif. You will also enjoy it with fish, pork and veal, grilled chicken or hard cheeses.
The LAHOFER winery is one of the largest growers of grapes in the Czech Republic.
Together with the company Vinice LAHOFER, it manages 430 hectares of land, for example on the Babičák, U Hájku, Volné pole, Waldberg or Lampelberg vineyards. This is where the LAHOFER Winery has placed the "Keep Your Head" wine programme. LAHOFER also takes care of the Paradise Vineyard on the historic terraces below the St. Nicholas Cathedral near the centre of Znojmo.
The composition of the vineyards includes practically all the main grape varieties grown in Central Europe. The predominant vineyards are Veltliner Green (16%), Riesling (13%), Müller Thurgau (10%), Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon, Muscat of Moravia, Pinot Gris, Riesling Welsh, Neburské, Tramín Red and Pálava. In the vineyards there are also lesser known varieties such as Kerner, Dornfelder, Blauburger and Alibernet.
