While aging on charcoal, the freshly distilled whiskey seeps drop by drop through a three-foot thick layer of sugar maple charcoal.
The barrel ageing process is as exceptional as filtering Gentleman Jack whisky. Only our own barrels made from the finest American white oak are used.
The inside of the barrels are carefully "toasted" to caramelize the natural sugars in the wood. After barrel aging, this Tennessee whiskey undergoes a second charcoal aging process.
