Glen Keith Distillery is one of Scotland’s younger distilleries. It was founded in 1957 by Chivas Brothers in the town of Keith, in the heart of the Speyside region, not far from the Strathisla Distillery. The brand is associated with a more modern approach to the production of Scottish single malt whiskey and with the typical Speyside character.
The distillery has also weathered a challenging period in its history—it was closed in 2000 but resumed operations in 2013. Today, Glen Keith builds on its original heritage while also standing as an interesting representative of contemporary Speyside whisky production.
