The rich aroma of fragrant nuts, almonds and the heavy male aroma spreads throughout the mouth, giving a sense of the long-term maturation of over 12 years. Good vanilla and raisins with faint somkiness is felt. The long term aging gives an outsanding balance of tart and sweet. A soft and smooth finish remains. Fresh ground water from the wilderness of the Tottori prefecture is a blessing from the earth and is used to bring the whisky to life. It is a very tasty, mellow charactericstic of whisky deserving of the name Kurayhsi, the city of water and green. Each bottle is crafted with love in an environment with lots of nature, mountains and little population. High temperatues in summer and snow in winter makes the region perfect for making whisky. This whisky not chill-filtered.
