The origin of the name Longmorn Distillery is in the Gaelic Lhanmorgund ("place of the holy man"), as it was built on the site of an old chapel. The distillery was founded in 1894 by John Duff and his partners George Thomson and Charles Shirres. For over a hundred years, the Longmorn brand has been a guarantee of rich, dominant taste. Most of the production is used in Chivas, Something Special and Queen Anne blended whiskies. Longmorn 23yo is an ultra-premium single malt Scotch whiskey from the Speyside region. This whiskey is the oldest bottling of the iconic Longmorn distillery and excels at aging in traditional hand-crafted oak casks. Filtration does not take place when cold. The whiskey is delivered in an exclusive wooden box. Alcohol content 48%.
Palate: Notes of ripe pears, sweet red apples, spice, ginger cake.
Aroma: Smooth vanilla caramel, milk chocolate and honey.
