Opened in 1957 in Favero, an ancient village in the middle of the Cembra valley, the Italian family-run Pilzer distillery is today one of the most prestigious distilleries not only in Trentino but in the whole of Italy. Under the direction of brothers Bruno and Ivan Pilzer, it produces a wide and highly qualified range of grappas, spirits and fruit spirits. Throughout its history, the distillery has won medals, awards and recognition at many of the most important national and international competitions in the sector.
An exceptional grappa made from the grape pomace of the Pinot Grigio grape variety aged for 85 months in oak barrels from the Scottish island of Islay. Limited edition of 1628 numbered bottles signed by master distiller Bruno Pilzer. A combination of delicate floral aromas of grapes and smoky, peaty aromas of Scottish wood. A complex palate where hints of peat dominate at the start and subtle nuances of vanilla and cocoa come through as it develops, with a long persistence. For a true tasting experience, take your time and use a large enough unrefrigerated glass.
