The fertile soil in the Jičín area was chosen to harvest apples for this traditional Czech distillate. The aroma and taste can be defined as pleasantly fresh, light, relatively mild with a medium-intense apple aroma in the background. Although the resulting taste is harmoniously balanced and light, work is still being carried out to improve it, including consideration of possible combinations of apple varieties to achieve a perfect, bright and intensely appley aroma and flavour.
